Book Slater’s and you can be sure you’ve got five generations of fairground expertise behind you – from one of the biggest names in Southern Scotland and Northern England.
In addition to the daily checks and maintenance carried out by our own experts, each ride and attraction supplied by Slater’s must pass an annual safety and electrical compliance test. This is carried out by an independent engineer under the Amusement Device Inspection Procedure Scheme (ADIPS).
We also adhere all requirements of the Health & Safety Executive’s Guidance for Safe Practice at Fairgrounds and Amusement Parks (HSG175).
Slater’s are long-standing members of The Showmen’s Guild of Great Britain, the professional trade association for the travelling fairground industry.
Each individual attraction carries full public liability insurance up to the sum of £10 million. Copies of certification are available upon request.
